WEvolution Collects Cheque

St Meddens Church of Scotland in Troon and St Quivox Church in Ayr have spent the past year raising funds to support the work of WEvolution across St Meddens Church of Scotland in Troon and St Quivox Church in Ayr have spent the past year raising funds to support the work of WEvolution across Scotland, in an effort to support the growth of self-reliant groups (SRGs). The congregations have held many local events to raise money including having stalls at various fetes and some even came together to run the Troon 10k. Their hard work is not in vain as the churches together raised an outstanding £2543.58 for WEvolution.

Staff members, Julie Hall, and Liz Taylor-Main, collected the cheque on behalf of the organisation during Sunday services. WEvolution is extremely grateful for the money and hopes to use it to support the development of WEvo Hubs where SRGs can meet, share skills and grow their income generating ideas together.

WEvolution is honoured to have the support of local churches, like St. Meddens and St. Quivox, in growing the larger SRG movement.
