Pattern Buddies create their own solutions

Pattern Buddies SRG was formed by Anne Ross in response to a need for a creative group which supported people suffering from mental health issues, encouraging them to come together to create artwork in a safe space. Creativity is recognised as an important method of healing and support and the sessions have grown and developed over the years supporting many people in Renfrewshire.

Paisley Buddies are a ‘Self Reliant Group’, who have developed an effective support mechanism which helps its’ members traverse everyday life and the challenges it brings.

Displayed here are a range of objects, some of which have been created for a purely therapeutic purpose while others have been created to sell, helping to build the confidence of the makers as they see their work being valued by others.

If you are interested in seeing any more of their work for sale, visit the Pattern Café or Etsy, where the WEvolution shop sells items created by Self Reliant Groups across Scotland.pattern-buddies-display
